'CMYK' is the colour model used by printers across the industry and is comprised of four colours - Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Key (Black).
CMYK is measured in percentages. Starting with the material colour as the base, these four colours are cleverly layered over each other until the intended colour has been created. The darker the colour, the more pigment is printed onto an area.
When providing artwork to the Design Team, the colour profile must be CMYK to ensure the closest colour match. Should the artwork be created in RGB, the colours on the final printed product may look flatter and duller in appearance than what your digital screen design looks like.
