We have lots of customers looking to order labels with us that will be applied to a curved or round surface. Many of our customers order labels for candles, a variety of cosmetics and wine bottles, all of which are round products. It can be more challenging to find the dimensions of these products
To find the dimensions of a round product, you will first need to find the circumference of it. You can do this using a tape measure if you have one handy, but if not grab a long piece of string or paper. Wrap this around the area of the product you want to apply your labels to and make a pen mark at the point you would like the label to end. It may be that you want each end to overlap or leave a small gap between the ends depending on your application. This will give you the width of the label. To find the height you can just use your ruler! Then you’re all set to start your label search.
If you don’t have any string to hand then measure the diameter of your object with a ruler and multiply by 3.141. This should give you the circumference of the bottle or cylindrical shape.
Now that’s sorted, you can get started with ordering your labels!
