If you’re looking a specific size of label but you can’t find it as a product on our website, we can still help you out! At Flexi Labels, we can create custom labels. There are a variety of ways we can do this, depending on your requirements. This article will explain how you can go about ordering this.
Which material do you want to purchase for your labels?
Paper/ Polyester/ Polypropylene –
If you are ordering labels in any of the above materials, you will need to contact a member of our team to purchase a tool (a die). This tool uses the ‘Kiss Cut’ method to cut the material to the required shape and size. To obtain a quote for a bespoke tool, we need to know the label shape, sizes and layout of the labels you require on a sheet (gaps between the labels and sheet margins if you know). Please email us these dimensions to info@flexilabels.co.uk.
A member of our team will provide you with a quote for the cost of the tool. This will be a one-off cost in addition to the price of the labels. Should you wish to reorder the same size labels on another occasion, you can do so at no additional cost for the tool. We will store the die in production for your convenience and maintain its upkeep.
Depending on the set-up, this tool may be used to create both roll and sheet labels. Therefore, the purchase of a tool is a great investment for long-term ordering.
Vinyl
If you are ordering labels in vinyl material, you will need to email a member of our team to specify the dimensions required. We can program our vinyl cutter to create the custom cut, and no purchase of a tool is necessary, making this process more cost-effective for short runs of labels at only an additional £4.99 + VAT to cover the set-up.
Moreover, with this method, you can create much larger sizes of labels, up to 1300mm x 2000mm, offering greater flexibility for unusual and creative jobs.
Please find our contact details below, should you wish to get in touch with a member of our team or submit a custom-label request through our site.
