Label Construction

A typical label consists of 3 components. 

A face material is supported by the liner with special adhesive in the middle

1. Face Material

Surface sized woodfree supercalendered paper, which is made from FSC™ Mix Credit-certified pulp.

2. CD - Cross Direction

2. Adhesive

Freezer permanent adhesive, acrylic and water borne.

3. Release Liner / Backing

Bleached Kraft paper, coated on one side and treated on the back.

Uses & Application

Product designed for multipurpose labelling in logistics and retail applications requiring thermal transfer printability, good convertibility, excellent dimensional stability and low temperature adhesion.

Shelf Life

From date of manufacture: 24 months, under FINAT defined storage conditions (+20-25°C and RH 40-50%). Prolonged storage at higher temperatures and/or humidity levels will shorten the shelf life.

Further information:

Designed for a wide range of industrial applications requiring bar codes or text printed with thermal transfer ribbons. Should be used when very good adhesion at low temperature is required. Very good dimensional stability and adhesion to non-polar surfaces, but it has limited adhesion to moist surfaces. This product is not recommended for labelling highly curved surfaces and not suitable for photocell dispensing systems.
