Thermal Transfer

'Thermal Transfer' printing is an alternative print method for thermal roll labels to 'Direct Thermal' printing.

The Roll label printer will use a thermal print head to head up areas on a wax or resin ribbon to produce a print.

A benefit of using a Thermal Transfer printer would be its capability to print colour with a coloured ribbon. Direct Thermal Printers are black print only.
