How Important is the Quality of a Label?

To ensure a happy purchase, we offer a free material sample service whereby customers can choose to see an example of the material before committing to an order. If you are about ready to purchase from us for the first time, we would recommend ordering a sample to ensure your product will meet your requirements.
If you have ordered printed labels from us, and you require a very particular colour for branding purposes, provide us with a Pantone colour reference or HEX code to ensure accuracy and the closest possible colour match. We do print digitally, but our team can closely colour-match to physical samples provided to us for reference. Once we know you are happy, we keep a colour profile on site to ensure consistency for future orders.
Whether you are printing on these labels yourself, or we are printing on them for you, the production of the label should pass our QC checks and be ready for use. As we manufacture all products bespoke to order, we keep a quality control sheet for each order to ensure that we have a reference for the job. Humble Beginnings
Flexi Print, which became Flexi Labels, was Established in 2012 by founder, Assad Gilani. The company began with Assad himself, running the business independently, and over the years the company has grown into a team with decades of experience between them, with an office and production warehouse in Peterborough. Free Samples
We would always recommend taking advantage of the free sample service, where you can test which material option is best suited before ordering a larger quantity. Please be aware these samples will not be cut to a specific size, but you can also order our MOQ of 5 sheets of labels to test both the material and size on a product. This is all useful to test the durability and adhesion, that you may be concerned about before ordering a larger quantity.
Environmentally Friendly
Taking into consideration our environmental impact is very important to us and we recycle over 2,000+ KG of recycled material every month. We can also offer a matt white recycled paper, permanent adhesive and a matt white biodegradable, permanent adhesive for more eco-friendly options in our selection of materials.
Meanwhile, we are working towards achieving an ISO certification, which adds to our credibility and demonstrates that our product meets industry standards and the expectations of our customers.
How do we ensure quality and convenience?
While we offer next-day and express delivery options on our plain labels, with printed orders we always aim to dispatch orders within a 3-5 working day lead time once our customers have approved their digital proof. Everything at Flexi Labels is made bespoke to requirements and is not picked from a warehouse shelf.
With printed orders we always send a digital proof of artwork by email to customers so you can approve this before it goes to print. This is to certify that you are happy with the design and product specifications of your labels before they go into production. A proof is designed to give our customers confidence in their order, and ensure our customers love their labels upon receiving them! You can make up to three amendments to your proof before you will incur an additional charge for the fourth amendment.
Unlike many companies in the 21st century, our customer service team are real people. The same team even sit behind the web chat - so you won’t have to speak with a robot. We understand how complicated the process of ordering labels can be, especially if it’s new territory, and we don’t want this to be an intimidating experience. For your convenience, we can email quotes, check the compatibility of rolls and printer models by checking printer specifications and we can even create orders you send to us by email. No query is too small.
What are the common mistakes to avoid when selecting a label supplier?
Don’t miss out on quality, just because you need an order quickly! We appreciate that some urgent orders may need a quicker lead time than 3-5 working days. While we cannot guarantee an expedited service due to fluctuating workloads, as long as we are aware, we can try to prioritise the manufacturing of your order. Understandably, it can be frustrating when you need your order urgently. We are very upfront with our lead times - which we believe to be reasonable - ensuring quality at a fair price.
For our customers local to Peterborough, if you are looking for a speedier service, you are always welcome to collect your order from us at the Flexi Labels site. We will remove the delivery charge and you may receive your labels in advance of the 3-5 working day lead time. If you let us know when you’re making your order, we can get this arranged for you and send you an email once your order is ready to be collected.
You may struggle to find a suitable, local supplier; however, we don’t think this is a necessity. We can now ship internationally, which means that there are no limits on who can order with us. Even if your country has not been listed alongside the locations we can deliver overseas. This does not mean that you can’t still order with us. Contact a member of our team and we can arrange for your order to be made as a collection. You can arrange for a courier to collect your order when it’s ready and deliver it.
